It is really a great challenge indeed that we are about to face in the state where shops, offices and business doors can no longer open in respect of the Covid 19 pandemic.

Even before the lock down we were greatly challenged in one way or the other, how then will it be during the lock down.
But are we gonna say we won’t survive? No, no way, we are definitely going to survive though it won’t be easy nor funny. I also want you to remember that the lock down is for our own very good, (i.e. to reduce the rate of movement into the state and within).
It is definitely going to be horrible, am even feeling like these are going to be the days of Joseph and Pharaoh but it is not.

Now when you look at other states around like Ibadan, Lagos and others have been on lock down for a while now (It is not something to laugh at, is just an illustration) that means we are not the first people to be engulfed in such situation, remember that surely after sunshine there will be rain so accept everything in good faith knowing it will be over.

Some fellow Christians have been murmuring that why must the lock down occur during the Easter period forgetting that it is during the same Easter period that the case is becoming worse. We should not just bear the name Christians but we should try and think like one (I mean no disrespect dear sir/ma).

Instead of being revolutionist why not join our hands together and support the Government, not really with money but with prayers and total adherence to the golden rule which is STAY AT HOME.
I know how it feels to be deprived of joy giving activities but we all have to be strong, remember “it is best locally avoided than specially treated”.

If we stay at home, pray at home we are going to be healthy even outside our homes.
To all my plateau brothers, sisters, fathers, mothers, uncles, aunts, friends and enemies I want to remind you that Christ is above all situations. And may the good lord continue to bless and sustain us all throughout this lock down period. Amen.

With love from Longsaar Francis
